Our winter renovation work is almost over and we’re looking forward to sharing the new, improved Point Cottage with all our wonderful B&B guests over the coming months. The main change returning guests will notice is the new way in through the now reinstated original cottage door. For many years this was partly blocked up and used as a window, but we’ve installed a beautiful new blue door which leads into a spacious, airy, yet cosy guest reception area. We’ve filled this with many more books than before, what’s on guides to the local area, maps and local photographs as well as board games to pass the time on those (we hope infrequent) not-so-good-weather days.
We now have just the two B&B rooms, both with lovely views directly over Loch Broom. These are run on the same ‘breakfast in your room’ basis as before. Parking is just outside the cottage, and just as before we offer a haven at the end of West Shore Street, a tranquil gem, only a five minute walk from the centre of the village or 1 minute in the car to the ferry car park.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
